While we don’t claim to be as gifted as Signor Farina, our Seville scent is definitely in a class all its own. Affectionately dubbed “God’s barbershop” by some of our more poetic customers, Seville is a blend of lemon, bergamot, rosemary, lavender, patchouli, and oakmoss.

Nowhere, however, smells like Seville – because Seville smells like the Garden of Eden. I’ve never been to a city that smells remotely like it: a mixture of orange blossom and jasmine, which in the spring, when we went, can make you feel almost high. You’d never believe that it’s the fourth biggest city in Spain.
What is Excelsior base?
Introducing Barrister and Mann’s new Excelsior soap base. It hits the best of all the bases. It lathers similar to Reserve, lasts longer than Glissant and is less finicky about water. This base DOES contain lanolin, so those with sensitivities should be aware.
