Sandy Balls has welcomed hundreds of thousands of guests to the village since opening its doors nearly 100 years ago. Its name dates back to the reign of King Henry VII when “sandyballas” – domed sand and gravel outcrops on the site’s western boundary – first appeared on maps.

Sandy Balls is conveniently located just 30 minutes from Southampton. Situated in Godshill Village, a little more than a mile from Fordingbridge. By Car From the east, leave the M27 at Junction 1 signposted New Forest/Lyndhurst/Cadnam A337 and at the end of the slip road, take the third exit B3079 to Brook and then join B3078 to Fordingbridge.
