Are Brewmaster monks good in Shadowlands?
It’s a useful skill, and a good all-around cooldown, but it’s arguably the least fun of all the Monk Covenant Abilities. Bone Marrow Hops adds more damage, a 7% increase while Bonedust Brew is active, for ~2.5% more overall DPS on average. It’s a pretty good bonus. It’s just not all that good for tanks.

There is a solution to that called Stagger. The way stagger works is that it reduces the initial damage of a hit while delaying the rest of it as a dot. You are then able to cleanse some of that to take even less damage.

This happens when you do not have enough Energy to cast Keg Smash right as it comes off cooldown. However, players who do this too often will find it severely impacts their play. Keg Smash does very large amounts of damage and reduces the cooldown on your all-important Brews.
