    You’re very welcome to take your dogs, on a short lead, anywhere outside except for the children’s Wild Play Corner. (Outside of the trial, dogs and owners are permitted to access the parkland via walking accross the top terrace of the garden, but the rest of the garden is assistance dogs only.)

    Is Hughenden open?

    You no longer need to book tickets to visit Hughenden. The house, gardens, parkland, car park, shop, cafe and toilets are open. Numbers are limited for safety in the house and places are only available on a first-come first-served basis on the day.

    Dogs are permitted into the gardens providing that they are walked on a lead in all areas of the formal gardens. They may run free in the Arboretum. Guide dogs are very welcome in our tea room.
