What is the standard size of a field gate?
Our standard five bar field gates come in both left hand and right handed options (identifiable by the fixings bolts). Our standard sizes (always in stock) are 3ft, 4ft, 5ft, 6ft, 7ft, 8ft, 9ft, 10ft, 11ft and 12ft.

Measure the distance between the inside faces of your posts. Then deduct 240mm from this and then divide by two for the size of each gate. For example, if the distance between posts was 3000mm, minus 240mm hinge and catch allowance equals 2760mm. This then divided by two equals 1380mm for each gate.
